I swam in the private pool at my villa while I watched the ocean view framed by the Petit Piton. Every meal at the Mango Tree restaurant provided fresh, local food with a gorgeous view. I used the shuttle service the resort arranged to visit the nearby beach for snorkeling and relaxing in the sun.

Private infinity pools in open sanctuaries

I swam in my private infinity pool while looking at the Pitons from my open-air sanctuary. My butler Teddy took care of every request, including finding my lost earpods during my three-day stay. I ate burgers and drank banana daiquiris at the beach bar, then finished my evenings watching the sun set from the water in my room.

I appreciated the USB port included in each wall plug for my electronics. My room featured a wide balcony looking out toward the Petit Piton and the sea. Christopher drove me to the Diamond Falls and Tet Paul trail in his taxi. I also found fresh fruit, water, and beers waiting for me in the room fridge upon my arrival.

Hummingbirds in the open backyard

I watched hummingbirds from the open concept layout of the house. Garvin and Mario took care of everything I wanted during my three days. I swam in the pool while looking at the views of the Piton.

I ate local fishcakes prepared by Arletta, who also introduced me to Marcellus for trips to the beach. Drinks waited in my fridge upon arrival, and I made coffee at the tea and coffee station in my kitchen. Arletta answered every question I had about local sites throughout my trip.

I watched the sunset from my balconywith a front row view of the Pitons over Soufriere. Valna helped me rent a car and met me at the airport before my arrival. I kept my things in the modern villa, which came fully equipped with US-capable outlets and a sharp carving knife in the kitchen.

Folding doors opening to the Pitons

I opened the folding doors to feel the breeze through the house while watching the Pitons and the sea from the deck. My time at the villa included the infinity pool, which looked directly out at the view. I used the beach towels, bluetooth speaker and the picnic bag I found inside. Charmaine welcomed me upon arrival and checked in to see if I needed anything while I stayed.

Fresh vegetables from the garden

I walked through the garden with my hosts and ate fresh eggs and vegetables they handed to me. I parked my car in the dedicated space provided outside. The kitchen held all the equipment I needed for my stay, and I used the hot shower after a day in the sun.

Creole lunch buffets served daily

I ate lunch at the Creole buffet every afternoon, while the fridge in my room stayed stocked with complimentary drinks. Solange left a warm dinner inside my villa when I arrived late on the first night. I watched the Pitons from my room throughout my stay.

Orchard harvests from Calixte

I received fresh papayas and bananas from Calixte, who grows an organic orchard of fruit trees and vegetables around the hotel. I also sipped on sorrel-Hibiscus juice, which he concocted with spices from his garden. My suite overlooked the Petit Piton and featured a large balcony where I sat to watch the sunrise and sunset.
